Holi celebration at the Bachchan house is a high-profile affair every year with several Bollywood heavyweights in attendance, but 2017 will most likely see a major departure from the tradition.
As per reports that are doing the rounds, the Bachchan family will not be celebrating the festival of colours as the Bachchan’s Bahu, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s father Krishna Rai is admitted in the ICU.
It’s been about two weeks since he has been in critical condition in Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital. Word has it that keeping in mind his critical state; the Bachchans will not celebrate Holi.
Owing to their current distress, the family will reportedly only host a pooja this year.
Reports said the family is under immense stress and that’s why they have decided to not celebrate Holi. They will only indulge in the customary Holi ka Pooja but not play with colours.
All through the week, Abhishek, Aishwarya and Amitabh have been spotted paying Rai a visit at the hospital.
