NAUNDERO: Nawaz government has left Pakistan at the verge of destruction as the country is not safe from any side, said Pakistan People’s Party MNA Nafeesa Shah while talking to media at GarhiKhudaBakhsh after laying floral wreaths and offering prayers at the graves of Bhutto leaders on Tuesday.
“Pakistan is the only country in the world which has no foreign minister,” she deplored during her first visit to Naundero after being nominated as PPP Sindh Vice President by party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
Shah said that foreign policy was in doldrums due to non-availability of a foreign minister, adding that six opposition parties were chanting slogans “Go Nawaz Go” at the moment on their respective party platforms.
The MNA said that unscheduled electricity and gas load shedding had paralysed the lives of people in Sindh while acute water shortage was further adding to their miseries. She said that PML-N had made commitments before and during the election campaign that it would wipe out blackouts from the country but they failed miserably and the country was still facing worst outages amidst scorching weather.
She said the PPP workers were protesting against lack of basic necessities but no action was being taken to address their grievances. She said that the PPP leadership would decide as to which level this tempo of protests should be increased.
Shah said that former president Pervaiz Musharraf must give clarifications upon his return and face the cases pending in the courts against him.
Earlier, Shah was warmly received by party activists on her arrival at the final resting place of Bhutto leaders.
