ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Thursday strongly condemned the attack on a New Kabul Bank branch in Lashkargah city that resulted in the loss of many innocent lives. In a statement, Foreign Office spokesperson Nafees Zakaria said, “The people and government of Pakistan extend their heartfelt sympathies and deepest condolences to the government and the people of Afghanistan and the bereaved families.” He condemned terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and prayed for the early recovery of the injured. “We firmly stand with our Afghan brothers in this hour of grief and anguish,” he said.
